Be active, have fun and make friends! Show us your TDs and play everyoneâ??s favorite sport: Flag Football in Austin! Always super popular, but we mix in the most critical part: a fun social atmosphere at our sponsor bar before and after games! No experience is necessary: just arrive with a smile, a great attitude and ready to run!

Games are played on Wednesdays at Montopolis Recreation Center between 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Game times run about 45 minutes. This league fills up FAST, so grab your friends and register now!


  • Games start on Wednesday, October 26th.
  • Regular season game dates are October 26, and November 2, 9, 16, and 30.
  • Playoff dates are (tentatively) scheduled for December 7 and 14.

  • This is a coed social flag football league with an emphasis on social. This is NOT a competitive league. Weâ??re all here to have fun and make friends! 
  • Players can join as Free Agents, small groups or teams. If you donâ??t have a team or group, you can still play. Just join as a Free Agent and weâ??ll place you on a fun team.
  • Minimum on field is 3 men and 3 women, with a max of 7 players on the field.
  • Games are two 20-minute halves and a 3-minute half time.
  • Substitute players are not allowed.

  • Each team has 5 weeks of games in regular season. Playoffs are 1-2 weeks.
  • The number of teams in playoffs may vary.
  • Because of weather, playoffs may need to be moved to a different day (but usually not).
  • We provide all officials and equipment. We also cover the costs of park/court/field permits (if applicable), parties, prizes and more.
  • Post-game happy hours are at our sponsor bar after games each week.


  • Our sponsor bar is The Haymaker.
  • Happy Hour specials will be available.
  • Great food and other drinks will be available.


  • Teams must have a minimum of 14 players and a max of 20 players.***
  • All teams must be open to accepting Free Agents and/or small groups.
  • Teams with less than the minimum number of players may be merged with another team.
  • T-shirt delivery is aimed for the 1st or 2nd week of games.


  • Captains are needed to organize and rally their teams, and distribute t-shirts to players.
  • Captains play for FREE - but only if their team hits the minimum number of players for within the early bird registration window.
  • We reach out to Captains from time to time to help us make decisions for teams.
  • Captains may request we hold off adding Free Agents to their teams. We will try to honor that request as best as we can for as long as we can, but we canâ??t guarantee anything.
